North Bay is up five spots in the 2023 HelloSafe ranking of the best student cities in Canada.
Out of 47 cities, North Bay is number 35 this year.
Hellosafe says the rankings are based on a set of 18 criteria combining academic excellence, student life, quality of life and attractiveness.
2023 rankings for North Bay include:
– #30 in Attractiveness
– #22 in Quality of Life
– #38 in Student life
– #28 in Excellence

Around the north, Sudbury was 29 while Sault Ste Marie comes in at 44.
Kingston was tops in Canada.
HelloSafe says the last rankings were done in 2021, with North Bay ranked 40 that year.
