Another area resident is celebrating a lottery win.
Jamieson Blanchard of Bonfield won $100,000 with an INSTANT PAYLINE MULTIPLIER.
The 56-year-old project manager says he received this ticket as a gift from a friend.
“The winning ticket was the very first one I scanned on the OLG App,” he says. “When I saw $100,000, I was definitely surprised.”
Jamieson says his wife was really happy with the news.
“The couple that bought me the ticket said, ‘Next time we go out, supper is on you,’” he says.
Jamieson doesn’t have any immediate plans for his win yet.
“This will go into my savings and my wife will be taking a trip to Jamaica with her sisters,” he said. “It feels great – most people dream about stuff like this. It’s awesome it happened to me.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Josephine Street in North Bay.
