North Bay Pride is hosting a drag brunch next Sunday.
Funds raised will support Pride activities planned in the fall.
“Online hate comments, protests at drag shows and drag queen story time have made the 2SLGBTQ+ community very frustrated as the misinformation is not what our community is about. We are about love. We are about equity, and we are about inclusion,” says Jason Maclennan, Communications Director for North Bay Pride. ”We at North Bay Pride stand with our community and understand how important pride is to combat all this hate and ignorance, so we decided to raise some funds to help make North Bay Pride bigger and better this September by hosting a drag brunch.”
The drag brunch, including an afternoon of music and entertainment, takes place at the Davedi Club on April 16 with host Mackenzie Drive.
