Six charged, $3,000 worth of drugs seized after Lakeshore Dr. investigation

Six people are facing drug trafficking charges after a police investigation on Lakeshore Dr. on Thursday.

That’s according to the North Bay Police Service. Officials say city police, along with the OPP, executed a search warrant at the home and all six of the accused were located inside.

Searches by police resulted in the seizure of:

  • Approximately 4 suspected Percocet pills
  • Approximately 21 grams of suspected cocaine
  • Approximately 100 suspected Lorazepam pills
  • Approximately 0.5 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • Approximately 4 suspected Suboxone pills
  • Approximately 10 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
  • Approximately 50 rounds of 9mm ammunition
  • Drug trafficking equipment
  • A quantity of Canadian currency
  • An Infiniti sedan as offense-related property

Police report the estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $3,000.

A young person, along with a 58-year-old, a 57-year-old and a 68-year-old from North Bay, and a 22-year-old and a 24-year-old from Toronto, all face counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking along with possession of property obtained by crime.

Four of the accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse. Two of the accused were released on an Undertaking and are scheduled to appear before the court on June 6, 2023.
