A section of Widdifield Station Road between Highway 63 and Laughrin Road has been closed due to flooding from the Little North River.
Officials say city crews are monitoring the situation and will reopen the road once the flooding recedes.
The Town of Mattawa, meantime, says it is closely monitoring the water situation and the rising levels of the Mattawa River and Ottawa River.
In a social media post, the town says staff is prepared for a quick assembly in the event of a flood situation, and will take action when required.
