The Canada Summer Jobs program is back and the 2023 hiring season is underway.

“Summer jobs are critical to the well-being of our local economy,” he says. “The pool of capable, dynamic and diverse talent available to employers increases during summer months, allowing many businesses to meet their seasonal staffing needs.”
Rota says summer is a crucial time for many young Canadians when they can earn extra money to help cover expenses, save for the future, or fund further education.
He says tens of thousands of new job opportunities for young people between the ages of 15 and 30 have now been posted on the Job Bank website, including over 250 summer jobs in Nipissing-Timiskaming.
