Tourism North Bay has launched a new events calendar highlighting activities and events happening in and around North Bay and area.
Tanya Bédard, Executive Director, says it’s available on the Tourism North Bay website and connects tourists and residents with unique businesses, attractions and experiences.
“There are other communities that are using very similar software. So, we thought it was an opportunity to be able to rally, to put front and centre and show a more collaborative effort to make sure we’re connecting with visitors with what we have to offer here in North Bay,” she says.
Collaborators include the City of North Bay, the Capitol Centre, North Bay Museum, Downtown North Bay & Waterfront, 250 Clark in Powassan, Nipissing First Nation and more
“It does include the surrounding areas,” Bédard says. “We feel that it’s important to be able to highlight those attractions as well.”
She says all event hosting groups from around the area are invited to add their events for free.
