History is coming alive at the Capitol Centre this weekend.
Performances of the extended version of ‘Five- The Dionnes: A Musical’ are taking place Friday and Saturday.
Gerry Mendicino is directing and acting in the production.
He says the main idea is to help educate people about the Quints’ story.
“There was a lot of tragedy, but it was an important part of this area. It was a national historic event,” he says. “It’s a story that should be told and giving tribute to the Dionnes. The respect they deserve and everything they went through.”
Tickets are $30 and are available at CapitolCentre.org
