TP North Bay’s campaign this year was even more of a success than earlier reported.
Just over 23,500 rolls were donated over several weeks at local drop-off events and officials expected to collect a few hundred more late last week.
However, more than 3,800 rolls were donated at that time.
That brings the new official total to 27,350 rolls of toilet paper.
“North Bay companies, clubs and citizens continue to show their generosity and community support and we could not do it without everyone who contributed from just a few rolls to hundreds of rolls,” says TP North Bay in a release.
The goal this year was 20,000 rolls of toilet paper.
All of the toilet paper is donated to food banks and pantries in North Bay to go to those in need.
