Deadline approaching for input on moose and wolf hunt changes

Nipissing residents have until January 18th to share their opinions on proposed changes to moose, wolf and coyote hunting regulations.

Under the proposal, people would be allowed to hunt coyote and wolves with a small game license, beginning in 2017.  People would also be able to harvest a limit of two wolves per season. In a release, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says “Hunting is an important wildlife management tool in our province and has a significant impact on the Northern economy and our way of life.”
