Nipissing University’s Teaching Hub has won an award that recognizes and honours innovation and excellence.
The Catalyst Award for Teaching and Learning is awarded to those that have redefined what is possible in the classroom by adopting new delivery models and tools that positively influence the educational experience.
The university won the award for its innovative use of Blackboard Learn, which provides an environment where instructors and faculty can learn and explore different tools and forms of assessment to best suit their individual needs.
“The Teaching Hub team offers programming that supports teachers and learners,” says Dr. Patrick Maher, Dean of Teaching and Full Professor of Physical and Health Education at Nipissing University. “We are incredibly grateful to be recognized by Anthology for our efforts to advance learning through its platform.”
Nipissing University’s Teaching Hub will be recognized next month in Nashville, Tennessee.
