If you’re planning to install or alter your driveway within the municipal right of way the city reminds you a permit is required before the work begins.
Officials say there have been several recent instances of work taking place without the proper permits because of door-to-door solicitation for asphalt and paving services.
“It is important that the city approve any such works to avoid potential conflicts with municipal road maintenance or construction activities and to ensure that all standards are met,” states a release.
