Starting early this week, the traffic lights at Main and Wyld streets will be deactivated and the intersection will become an all-way stop.
That’s according to city officials who are reminding drivers that once the lights are deactivated, the intersection should be treated like any other all-way stops and permit pedestrians to cross safely.
They add the intersection will remain an all-way stop until Blocks 4 and 5 of the Making Over main Street project are complete later this fall.
