Two men from West Nipissing are facing drug trafficking charges.
That’s according to the North Bay Police Service, who says officers responded to reports of individuals operating a vehicle under the influence. Officers then stopped a vehicle on Main Street East, which matched the description provided in the report.
The service says a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 37 suspected fentanyl, 26 grams of suspected cocaine, 10 grams of suspected crystal meth and more. The estimated street value is approximately $8,000.
The driver was also charged with impaired, and both accused were held in custody, pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
