Over 600 butterflies were released at the waterfront on the weekend in honour of loved ones in our community.
The Near North Palliative Care Network (NNPCN) held its 14th annual butterfly release on Saturday.
Officials say all proceeds go directly towards ensuring the network continues to offer free bereavement, educational, and palliative care services in the region.
The visiting hospice serves all communities in the Nipissing and East Parry Sound Districts, from West Nipissing to North Bay, Mattawa, Almaguin and more.
