Nipissing University’s Student Union has announced two summer events to raise awareness and funds for cystic fibrosis research.
The proceeds of the Community Shine Trivia and Shineball tournament will be going to the union’s Shinerama campaign.
Trivia will be held at 7 pm on July 27th.
The cost to participate is $15, with teams of up to six people.
Shineball will be hosted on Aug 12, with an early bird registration of $500.
Officials say the slowpitch tournament will consist of teams of 14 players, including a minimum of three female athletes.
