The 24th edition of Mattawa Voyageur Days takes place this weekend.
The spotlight shines on country music Friday night with Blue Rodeo the headliner at Explorer’s Point.
Earlier performances include The Chicks Tribute and Elliot Brood.
Saturday night sees Roadhouse, an AC/DC tribute band and headliner Trooper take to the stage.
A couple more tribute bands perform Sunday night with the fireworks closing out the festival at 10 pm.
There’s also music from several local performers each day in the beer garden at Annie’s Park.
Along with vendor markets, daytime activities include the free Kid’s Zone at Timmins Park, axe throwing, helicopter rides, tours of the Otto Holden Dam, a rock wall, pony rides, and much more.
