Another city beach now has lifeguards.
Officials say they’re now on duty at Olmsted Beach on Lakeside Drive.
Both Shabogesic Beach on Lake Nipissing and Olmsted Beach on Trout Lake will be supervised seven days a week from noon until 7 pm.
At the end of June, the city said challenges with recruiting lifeguards meant Olmsted Beach wouldn’t be staffed until Aug. 1.
It was also announced at that time that lifeguards won’t be on duty at all this summer at the Birchaven Cove.
