North Bay & Area Community Foundation announces grant recipients

Over $110,000 in grants are going to 18 different area organizations.

The money comes from several different funds within the North Bay and Area Community Foundation.

Officials say the goal of the foundation is to create a sustainable source of funding primarily for charity groups.

“The value that our local charities add to our community is immense and the work that they do is essential,” says Kate Merritt-Dupelle, Executive Director. “We are incredibly grateful for our fundholders and the generosity of our community. It is because of this generosity that we are able to serve as a source of sustainable funding and support the inspiring efforts being made in our area.”
