Local residents can help celebrate North Bay’s natural heritage this weekend.
The Annual Louise de Kiriline Lawrence Nature Festival is being held at the Laurier Woods Conservation Area on Aug. 19 from 10 am to 3 pm.
Organizers include the Friends of Laurier Woods, Nipissing Naturalists and the North Bay- Mattawa Conservation Authority.
The festival is free and activities on Saturday include guided hikes, a forest bathing walk, kid’s activities, vendors and more.
Laurier Woods is a 240-acre conservation area in the city, featuring 6.5 km of trails.
