A 72-year-old city man is facing charges of assault with a weapon and uttering threats after an incident on Gladstone Avenue.
The North Bay Police Service says just before 9 am on Aug. 14 a person started yelling at another person from a neighbouring property, swung a wooden stick in their direction and made threats.
Officers arrived and arrested the man, who police say had since dropped the stick and left the property.
They add the victim, who was not injured, and the accused are not known to each other.
The accused was released with a September court appearance.
