A 63-year-old McConkey Township resident is facing a weapons charge after several OPP resources were deployed to a residence on Highway 522 last week.
The Powassan OPP says police, including crisis negotiators, and paramedics responded to a weapons call just before 8 o’clock last Thursday night.
Police say the incident ended peacefully about two hours later with a person arrested and taken to hospital.
The accused was held for a court appearance in North Bay the next day.
