Do you know an unsung hero?
If so, the Rotary Club of North Bay wants to hear from you.
The club is launching an “Unsung Hero Service Award” initiative to recognize and honour individuals who have made a positive and substantive contribution to their community or workplace, yet do not seek recognition.
Officials say that ties in directly with the Rotary motto of ‘Service Above Self.’
Nominees must be 18 and older and live in North Bay and surrounding communities.

The deadline for nominations is October 31.
Individuals selected will be honoured as Paul Harris Fellows on Nov. 27.
Harris founded Rotary with three business associates in 1905.
