A 36-year-old from North Bay is facing charges after police say she broke into a Haig Street business.
The North Bay Police Service says at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 20, the accused gained entry to the business and stayed there until approximately 6:30 a.m. and then left with approximately $1,000 worth of items.
Police say on the same day, the accused also attended the North Bay Farmer’s Market and stole from a vendor.
Police located and arrested them a short time later on Main Street East.
The accused was charged with:
- One count of Break, Enter dwelling house – commit indictable offence
- One count of Theft Under $5,000
- Two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
