A 33-year-old North Bay man is facing charges of assault and causing a disturbance.
That’s according to the North Bay police service who says around 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 22, officers attended Chippewa Secondary School after reports of an unwanted individual on the property.
Police say the accused was acting erratically and aggressively while attempting to gain entry to the school, adding staff had successfully prevented him from doing so.
Officers located the man and attempted to de-escalate the situation… The service says the accused then attempted to assault an officer and was placed under arrest. The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
