Property stolen from hardware stores in several cities recovered in North Bay

The North Bay Police Service is reporting over $18,000 worth of stolen property has been recovered.

Police say the property belongs to hardware stores and other victims in North Bay, Sudbury, Huntsville, Burks Falls, and Barrie.

This after a traffic stop and search of a Carruthers Street residence on September 25, and the search of a Lakeshore Drive storage locker the next day.

Police also say a lever action firearm and a firearm barrel were seized. Three city residents, two men and a woman, are facing several charges including trafficking in stolen property and firearms-related offences.

Two of the accused were held for bail hearings while the other was released with a November court appearance.
