Commuters to and from West Ferris into the downtown area of the city can expect traffic delays for the next several days.
A portion of Lakeshore Drive at the intersection of Judge Avenue will be temporarily reduced to a single lane in both directions starting Wednesday morning.
The city says upgrades are getting underway and are expected to take several days to complete.
The work involves the removal and replacement of curbs, installation of new sidewalks and tactile panels, and milling and paving of the intersection.
