A new Veteran Family Pilot Program has been launched in North Bay.
The program will provide support for veterans who have been released from the military because of medical reasons. These veterans and their families will be able to access support programs and employment assistance through the North Bay Military Family Resource up to two years after their leave.
The program is a partnership between Veterans Affairs Canada, Military Family Services and the North Bay Military Family Resource Centre. It’s being tested in seven cities across the country.
