Algoma Manitoulin MPP Mike Mantha has told a pre-budget, all-party committee enough is enough. Mantha addressed the committee in Sault Ste. Marie and said people don’t want to tolerate hardships anymore.
And the New Democrat says geography shouldn’t matter when the Wynne Liberals put their budget together. He expects Northerners to be treated at the very least the same as their Southern Ontario cousins.
Mantha hopes the Liberals listen to the people, otherwise he adds these pre-budget sessions are a complete waste of time. The committee is on a break this week but has two final days of hearings next Monday and Tuesday in Toronto.
