It’s a first for Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North (HFHOGN).
The organization’s first energy efficient, universally accessible modular home has arrived in Magnetawan.
“Without the significant financial support and in-kind contributions from donors, the support of the community, and the committed volunteers of the Magnetawan Chapter, this project would not have been possible” says Kimberley Woodcock, CEO HFHOGN.
Mayor Sam Dunnett says the municipality donated land for the community’s first Habitat for Humanity build.
Officials with Quebec-based Champoux Homes say they’re proud to partner with the Habitat chapter on the first of what they hope to be many modular builds.
