Don’t be surprised if you see people dressed up in their Halloween costumes at the waterfront this Saturday.
That’s when the Near North Palliative Care Network’s Monster March fundraiser is taking place.
The event is both a walkathon and a family-fun trick-or-treat event.
It starts at 11 am on Oct. 21 at the North Bay Museum.
Participants will be wearing Halloween costumes as they walk to Lee Park with activities, contests and goodies during and after the walk.
Registration is taking place online at the network’s website.
Funds raised will directly support services at the visiting hospice, including accredited peer-to-peer grief support, caregiver respite, palliative care, workshops and more.
