The province is investing nearly $80,000 in North Bay through its After School Program.
Officials say the program improves the health and well-being of children while encouraging their development through safe and supervised sport and recreation activities.
MPP Vic Fedeli made the announcement on Friday – saying the program is critical to maintaining positive physical and mental well-being of children here in North Bay.
Mayor Peter Chirico says thanks to the support, the city will maintain a safe environment for young ones in our community offering recreation at two locations, three days a week.
