A 47-year-old has been charged with drug trafficking and sex offences.
City police share they received information that the accused provided illegal drugs to two underage victims on multiple occasions, and also sexually assaulted them.
As part of an investigation, an undercover police officer engaged with the accused to purchase drugs.
Police say earlier this week, the accused was arrested after meeting up with the undercover officer for the transaction.
18 grams of suspected cocaine was seized.
He was charged with
Four counts of Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 years of age
· Four counts of Sexual Interference
· Three counts of Trafficking a Schedule I Substance
· One count of Invitation to Sexual Touching under 16 years of age
· One count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking
The accused was held pending a bail hearing.
