Community donates over 4,000 lbs of food during Santa Claus Parade

This time of year, it’s normally Santa who delivers the goods.

But on Sunday, it was North Bay who showed out.

Officials share they’re in awe of the over 4,123 lbs of food, and over $500 donated at this year’s Santa Claus Parade.

A tonne of floats made their way from Chippewa to Ferguson and eventually Main Street.

This year’s theme was Outdoor Winter Activities and some winneres were also recently announced.

Best Overall float went to Redpath Canada Ltd. and Century 21 Blue Sky Realty took Best Spirit.
