A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a pick-up truck on Gormanville Road yesterday.
That’s according to the North Bay Police Service, who says officers attended the collision around 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 23 afternoon.
The victim was transported to hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
Gormanville Road was closed from about 5:45 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid at this time. They add they won’t be releasing the name of the victim.
