Part owner of the Empire dies in snowmobile crash

The victim of a snowmobile crash in Joly Township has been identified.

Fifty-five-year-old Brian Bradley from Machar Township died of his injuries on Wednesday. Bradley was one of the owners of the Empire, North Bay’s Landmark Retirement Residence. Police say Bradley was driving his snowmobile along the edge of a trail in Joly Township, when the snowmobile hit a mound of snow and was vaulted into several trees. The OPP is investigating the incident.

The Empire posted this message on their Facebook page:

“It is with sadness that we have learned of the passing of one of The Empire’s owners, Brian Bradley, following a snowmobile accident yesterday. Our deepest condolences go to his family and loved ones. While the Empire remains in the care of committed ownership, Brian’s touch will certainly be missed, as will his smile and wonderfully positive outlook.”
