The grant process for the city’s Event Hosting Program is now open.
Groups looking to host conferences, meetings, sports tournaments, and special events in 2024 can apply.
The city says the program offers financial assistance to offset event-hosting expenses.
So far nearly 50 events have been supported this year.
Officials say a review committee made up of members from the Chamber of Commerce and the city’s Economic Development and Community Services departments will evaluate and score applications.
Applications can be submitted until Jan. 26, 2024.
