Two North Bay residents have been charged with attempted murder.
That’s according to the North Bay Police Service, which says yesterday (Dec. 12), officers attended a home in West Ferris in relation to a victim who had been forcibly confined.
The service says both accused, a 34 and a 35-year-old, had stolen items from the victim.
When the victim confronted them, the accused choked, stabbed and gagged the victim, before handcuffing them and placing them in a dryer.
Police say the victim then heard the accused talking about how they were going to kill them… escaped the dryer, ran to a neighbour’s and called police.
Along with Attempt Murder, they’re also facing charges of forcible confinement, robbery, assault and more.
The two are being held for a bail hearing.
