A 56-year-old from Garson is facing charges after he hit a pedestrian near Memorial Gardens on Friday.
That’s according to the North Bay Police Service, which says just before 7 p.m., the youth was crossing the street at Ferguson and CHippewa when he was hit by the vehicle.
They add he sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital where he was treated and then released.
The accused has been charged with failing to stop at a cross-over.
City police remind all motorists to be attentive to their surroundings, especially in the winter evening hours.
