North Bay Pride is bringing an evening of glitter, glamour, and more to Gateway City Brewery later this week.
Officials say the “Drag Me Into 2024” event on Saturday promises to be a dazzling showcase of talent and fun.
“The art of drag has been around for centuries, from Shakespeare to Bob Hope to Canada’s Drag Race,” says Gage Xavier, Board of Directors, North Bay Pride. “Drag is not just an art form; it’s a celebration of individuality, breaking free from the gender constraints imposed by society. In a world where science tells us that gender is fluid, it’s time to embrace and celebrate diversity.”
The 19+ show is also a fundraiser for North Bay Pride events in September. Tickets are $15 plus service charge and available on eventbrite.
