A council committee will be going over a motion to investigate the future use of West Ferris Arena.
This after council, on Tuesday night, supported an amendment to refer the motion to committee for further discussion.
“My understanding is that there are no outstanding items that require to be addressed in the 2019 assessment of the building structure of West Ferris Arena,” says Councillor Lana Mitchell. “Therefore, I think it’s unclear on what this motion is asking staff to do.”
The motion calls for a building condition assessment, community input and more.
