NPSC welcomes new board trustee

A new trustee for North Bay has been sworn-in at the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board.

David Dunkley takes over from Barb McCool, who retired at the end of November.

The board says Dunkley has 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, is an accomplished business owner and professor at Canadore College.

Officials say he also brings a wealth of community and faith-based service to the board.

“We are pleased to welcome David Dunkley as a member of our Board of Trustees,” says Shawn Fitzsimmons, board chair. “His rich history of faith-filled service to the community, varied professional experiences, and commitment to Catholic education will serve the Board well as we continue our journey to realize our Board’s strategic ENDs and ensure all our students thrive and reach their full potential.”

Dunkley’s term is effective immediately for the rest of the current term of the Board, ending November 14, 2026.
