City police holding a name the mascot contest

The North Bay Police Service is looking for area kids to help name its new mascot.

Officers will be dropping by schools this week to say hi and drop off entry forms, which feature a picture of the mascot.

Kids can also colour the picture if they’d like to.

Entries will then be picked up at area schools on March 1, or they can be emailed to [email protected].

The contest is open to kids in kindergarten through grade 8.

The winner receives a special prize, a behind-the-scenes tour and lunch with the police chief.
