Registration for the NICU Charity Golf Tournament has opened.
Supporting the needs of our community’s tiniest patients in the neonatal intensive care unit, the tournament will be held on May 26 at Osprey Links Golf Course and sponsored by North Bay Mazda.
A shotgun start, a $10,000 Hole in One Challenge and a couple of auctions will all be part of the event.
This year’s proceeds support the purchases of Biliblankets and Beds to treat newborns with jaundice. Officials say Biliblankets use blue light to break down excess bilirubin in newborns, preventing severe complications like neurological damage. They offer a non-invasive and effective treatment, ensuring the well-being of babies and facilitating a quicker and safer transition into early life.
