A 2.74 per cent increase in taxes.
That’s what North Bay home owners will see when their bill comes in.
It means if your household is assessed at $250,000, you’ll be paying an extra 103 dollars and 47 cents.
$2.6 million from reserves was used to bring the increase down for residents.
Council voted on the budget at a special council meeting last night , with all but councillors Tanya Vrebosch and Sara Inch being in favour.
Mayor Peter Chirico thanked  all of council, saying although they may not have agreed on every single point, the discussion was fruitful. He called the 2.74 increase commendable, and also thanked staff for their hard work.
