Nine different bands and musicians are lined up for the city’s Summer Concert Series at the waterfront this year.
The series starts July 3 and features free outdoor live music performances on selected Wednesday nights in July and August at the Kiwanis Bandshell.
“The Summer Concert Series brings our community together with music, showcasing local talent, and providing an opportunity to enjoy live music outdoors during the summer months,” said Councillor Justine Mallah, Chair of Community Services. “Join us at the Kiwanis Bandshell this summer.”
The lineup for the 11th annual series includes:
– Blue Screw
– Paul Pruneau
– John Macdonald
– Maple Hill Project
– Night Ryders
– King and High
– The County
– Hurricanes
– Buckwild
According to the city’s website, most of the line-up is set for the Hot Summer Nights Music Festival on the Civic holiday weekend in August.
Those listed include North of Quiet, Jude Zappala, Yer Blues, The unknown and Broome Turners.
Details are still to be announced involving Arts and Culture Nights on selected Tuesdays.
