What’s billed as a new, luxury dog retreat is open in North Bay.
The Lodge at Canine Field is on Chadbourne Drive.
It officially opens Saturday at 10 am with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tours, giveaways and more.
“In the spirit of giving back to the community, The Lodge will be raising funds to support local efforts in caring for animals in need,” states a release.

Officials say the state-of-the-art facility offers 6,500 square feet of space with two separate wings and 44 suites for overnight stays.
There are also indoor and outdoor play areas, and they offer pet grooming, daycare and shuttle service.
