More than 240 Canada Summer Jobs opportunities are now available in Nipissing-Timiskaming.
That announcement from Anthony Rota, Member of Parliament for Nipissing-Temiskaming.
He says youth between the ages of 15 and 30 can now find job opportunities in their communities on the Job Bank website and mobile app.
“Canada Summer Jobs helps connect employers in Nipissing-Timiskaming and across the country with the workforce of the future,” Rota says. “I encourage young people to visit jobbank.gc.ca/youth today to find many great summer job opportunities in fields that interest them.”
He says the Canada Summer Jobs program helps young people to earn money over the summer, while gaining skills and experience.
New jobs are also expected to be added over the coming weeks.
Canada Summer Jobs is delivered through the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) and is part of a wide variety of programs offered by the Government of Canada to help youth gain the skills, education, and work experience they need to successfully transition into the workforce.
