You may notice an increased police presence at the mall over the next few days.
It’s ok, this is National Police Week (May 12-18) and officials with the North Bay Police Service will be at Northgate Shopping Centre offering information on job opportunities and more.
Along with a Human Resources official on hand all three days to provide employment information, there are a couple of kids sessions on Tuesday where children can meet Radar the Moose, the city police mascot.
On Wednesday, you can learn about fingerprinting and crime scene processing with forensics.
Drones in policing are the focus during a Thursday session with the Emergency Response Team at the mall too.
Police will be set up near the main entrance to the mall from 10 am to 8 pm, May 14-16.
The graphic below provides more information about sessions taking place each day.
