Monday is a Statutory Holiday in Ontario with the usual Victoria Day closures in effect.
That includes most government offices and retail outlets.
The City of North Bay advises city hall will be closed on Monday, May 20. Officials also say transit buses are not running on Victoria Day and the Merrick Landfill will be closed.
There’s also no garbage and recycling collection that day.
It’s delayed by one day next week.
